7 Common Aquaguard Light Indicator Signals and Their Meanings

Aquaguard operates through multiple stages, including water filtration and cartridge replacement.

You will find different LED indicators for different purposes. To use your Aquaguard water purifier well, you have to know about these Aquaguard light indicators.

List of different Aquaguard light indicators.

1. Power ON Time.

As you power ON the Aquaguard water purifier, its three LED lights will glow one by one. These are the Red, Blue, and Green.

Firstly, the Red light will glow, followed by the Blue one after the other for one second. And at last the Green lights solid for five seconds.


Thus, you can consider your water purifier ON.

2. Tank Filling.

The LED indicator will blink blue, at a rate of 0.5 Sec. As the tank gets filled, it will glow blue.

3. UV LED Fault.

In case of a fault in the UV chamber. The Red LED will be solid.

4. SV/Pump Fault (short).

The Solenoid valve or pump allows the raw water to enter the RO unit when the power supply is available. Without power, raw water cannot enter the RO unit for filtration.

 If there is any fault in the SV/ Pump, then the Red LED will blink red at 0.5 second rate.

5. DRS (Dry Run Sensor).

The purple light will glow if the water tank is empty or has little water. It will remind you to refill the water purifier.

6. Electronic Authentication Error.

The Aquaguard filter cartridges come with Electronic Authentication, which gives pre-emptive alerts once the filter reaches end-of-life. And it ensures that you install the original cartridges.

When the filters of the water purifier need to be replaced for its working, your water purifier will show it via blinking the red light at a 0.25 sec rate.

7. Filter life warning.

This is the warning that shows that you have to change the filters, otherwise it will stop working. You have to change your filters every twelve months.

In such cases, the white LED will blink slowly.

And if you don’t change your filters, the white light will blink fast and your water purifier will not work. This is known as Filter EOL (End of Life).
